SUMMARY OF ADJUSTMENTS AND SETTINGS

Alignment of coulters and
openers.
Down pressure

METHOD
Adjust top link to make top of
seed box parallel to ground in
operating position.
Lower drill to firm ground to
leave mark on surface, drive
forward 20 feet.
Check to see that openers
follow middle of coulter mark
and adjust if necessary by
swiveling offset shank.
Adjust spring tension to
appropriate setting.
Adjust until wheel follows
opener.
