To set the threshold on PM IPDU number one to 5.6A, enter:

To read the threshold, enter:

assign

The assign command assigns management of an outlet to a given user. This command is available
to the admin user only.

Syntax

assign <outlet_number> <user>

Examples

To assign outlet 4, 6, 7 and 8 to user tess, enter:

<IPDU_ID>

Identification string previously set by the id command

<threshold>

The current threshold is the maximum allowed current on the power strip

<phase_letter>

Specifies the threshold of a specific phase on the PM42 IPDU. When the
phase letter is not specified on the PM42 IPDU, the threshold will be set
to the same value for all three phases.

no argument

Displays alarm status of all PM IPDUs in the daisy chain

pm>alarm 1 5.6

pm>alarm

<outlet_number>

Outlet number, such as “5”, outlet name such as “sunfire”, or group of
outlets such as “1, 3-5”

<user>

Desired username

pm>assign 4, 6-8 tess
