Troubleshooting
✤ If these instructions do not solve your problem, contact your nearest
Samsung authorized service center.
You cannot switch the
Camcorder on.
Start/Stop button
does not operate
while recording.
The Camcorder shuts
off automatically.
Charge runs out
quickly.
When you see a blue
screen during
playback.
A vertical strip appears
on the screen when
recording a dark
background.
Auto focus does not
work.
Play, FF or REW
button does not work.
Check the Battery pack or the AC Power adapter.
Check the Power switch is set to CAMERA.
You have reached the end of the cassette.
Check the record protection tab on the cassette.
You have left the Camcorder set to STBY for more
than 5 minutes without using it.
The Battery pack is fully exhausted.
The atmospheric temperature is too low.
The Battery pack has not been charged fully.
The Battery pack is completely dead, and cannot be
recharged, Use another Battery pack.
The video heads may be dirty.
Clean the head with a cleaning tape.
The contrast between the subject and the background
is too great for the Camcorder to operate normally.
Make the background bright to reduce the contrast or
use the BLC function while you are recording in bright
Surroundings.
The image in the
Viewfinder is blurred.
The Viewfinder lens has not been adjusted.
Adjust the Viewfinder control lever until the indicators
displayed on the Viewfinder come into sharp focus.
Check the Manual Focus menu.
Auto focus does not work in the Manual Focus mode.
Check the Power switch. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
You have reached the beginning or end of the cassette.
When you see a
mosaic pattern
during playback
search. This is normal operation and it is not a failure or
defect.
The tape may be damaged. Replace the tape.
Cleaning the video heads (see page 113).

Se ve una pantalla azul

El sistema de enfoque
automático no funciona.
Los botones PLAY, FF o
REW no funcionan.
Compruebe la batería o el adaptador de CA.
Compruebe que el interruptor Power está ajustado en la
posición CAMERA.
Se ha llegado al final del casete.
Compruebe la pestaña de protección contra la
grabación del casete.
Ha dejado la videocámara en la posición STBY y sin
usarla durante más de 5 minutos.
La batería está completamente descargada.
La temperatura ambiente es demasiado baja.
La batería no se ha cargado por completo.
La batería está completamente agotada y no se puede
recargar. Utilice otra batería.
Los cabezales de vídeo pueden estar sucios.
Límpielos con una cinta de limpieza.
El contraste entre el objeto y el fondo es demasiado
para que la videocámara funcione normalmente.
Ilumine el fondo para reducir el contraste o utilice la
función BLC.
La imagen se ve
borrosa en el visor.
No se ha ajustado la lente del visor.
Desplace la palanca de control del visor hasta que los
indicadores que aparecen en el visor muestren que está
bien enfocado.
Compruebe el menú Manual Focus (Foco M.).
El enfoque automático no funciona en la modalidad de
enfoque manual.
Compruebe el interruptor Power. Coloque el interruptor
Power en PLAYER.
Se ha llegado al principio o al final del casete.
Cuando vea un patrón
en mosaico durante la
búsqueda de
reproducción.
Esta circunstancia es normal y no es ningún fallo o
defecto.
Es posible que la cinta esté dañada. Sustituya la cinta.
