✤ The still images that you recorded are saved in JPEG file format on
the Memory card.
✤ The moving images that you recorded are saved in MPEG4 file
format on the Memory card.
✤ Each file has a file number and all files are assigned to a folder.
- A file number from DCAM0001 is sequentially assigned to each
recorded image.
- Each folder is numbered from 100SSDVC and recorded on the
Memory card.
Still Image
■ Images are compressed in JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts
Group) format.
■ The picture size is 800x600 (Tape Capture 640x480).
Moving Image
■ Images are compressed in MPEG 4 (Moving Picture Experts Group)
format.
■ The picture size is 720x480.
✤ You can use this Camcorder as a Digital Still Camera (DSC).
✤ You have to set the Mode switch to Memory card to use this
Camcorder as Digital Still Camera.
M.Cam mode (Memory record mode)
1. Set the Power switch to CAMERA.
2. Set the Mode switch to MEMORY CARD.
M.Player mode (Memory playback mode)
1. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to MEMORY CARD.

Selecting the Camcorder Mode
✤ Las imágenes fijas grabadas se guardan en la tarjeta de memoria
en formato JPEG
✤ El vídeo grabado se guarda en la tarjeta de memoria en formato
MPEG4.
✤ Cada archivo tiene un número y todos los archivos están
asignados a una carpeta.
- A cada imagen grabada se le asigna un número de archivo a
partir de DCAM0001.
- Todas las carpetas se numeran desde 100SSDVC y se graban en
la tarjeta.
Imágenes fijas
■ Estas imágenes se comprimen en formato JPEG (Joint
Photographic Experts Group).
■ El número de píxeles es 800 x 600 (Captura de cinta 640 x 480)
en cada modalidad.
Vídeo
■ Los vídeos se comprimen en formato MPEG 4 (Moving Picture
Experts Group).
■ El número de píxeles es 720 x 480 en cada modalidad.
✤ Esta videocámara se puede usar como cámara fotográfica digital
(DSC).
✤ Para usar esta videocámara como cámara fotográfica digital,
deberá ajustar el interruptor Mode en la posición Memory Card.
Modalidad M.Cam (modalidad de grabación en memoria)
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en CAMERA.
2. Coloque el interruptor Mode en MEMORY CARD.
Modalidad M.Player (modalidad de reproducción de memoria)
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en PLAYER.
2. Coloque el interruptor Mode en MEMORY CARD.
