AA Rating”
The Movie rating system uses the “MPAA” (Motion Picture Association of America) system, and its main
application is for movies. When the rating control is on, the TV will automatically block any programs that are
coded with objectionable ratings (either “MPAA Rating” or “TV Parental Guidelines”).
1 Press the [MENU] button.
The menu will be displayed.

Press the […/†] button to move to <Setup>, then press
the [ENTER] button.
The <Setup> will be displayed.

Press the […/†] buttons to move to <V-Chip>, then press
the [ENTER] button.
The message <Enter PIN> will appear. Enter your 4 digit PIN number.
The <V-Chip> screen will appear.

Press the […/†] button to move to <MPAA Rating>, then
press the [ENTER] button.
The <MPAA Rating> screen will appear.

You can independently lock the TV ratings. The blocked
TV(FCC) ratings are indicated by a <B>. Press the
[…/†/œ/√] buttons and the [ENTER]button to activate the
appropriate restrictions for TV(FCC) Rating system.

Press the [EXIT] button to finish.
