Settings

Delete All

— Lets you delete all files in this folder and/or delete this folder.

Use the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight an option, then press the

key.

Press the

key access this folder or to view or play this file.

Format Ext Memory

1.

In standby mode, press the M

ENU

(left) soft key (

), then press

(for VIDEO + MUSIC) and

for (Memory Info), and

for Format

Ext Memory. You’re prompted to enter the password.

Note: The default password is ‘0000’.

2.

Enter the password. You are prompted to confirm the formatting of the

Memory Card.

3.

Use the Left and Right navigation to highlight Yes (to format this Memory

Card) or No (to retain the contents of this Memory Card).

Caution!: Do not reformat a Memory Card to erase all files and folders. Repeated formating of a Memory

Card can cause it to fail.

Settings

1.

In standby mode, press the M

ENU

(left) soft key (

), then press

(for VIDEO + MUSIC) and

for Settings. The following sub-menus

appear in the display:

• Backlight Duration — Lets you override the Backlight setting for your device

during file video/music playback.

• Play Time — Lets you select a specific length of time for playback to take

place.

• Play Option — Lets you select video/music file playback options.

Use the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight an option, then press the

key to enter the selected sub-menu.

Backlight Duration

1.

In standby mode, press the M

ENU

(left) soft key (

), then press

(for VIDEO + MUSIC) and

(for Settings), and

for Backlight

Duration. The following options appear in the display:

• Use Display Setting — The Backlight remains on for the length of time

specified for the Backlight setting. (See “Backlight” on page 80 for more
information.)

• Always On — The Backlight remains on for the duration of the current

playback session.
