PORT 1 TEST

Port 1 is the serial data from pins 2 & 3 of the DB-9 which send data from the VSSI-Pro to a printer. Sending and receiving
data performance can be analyzed under the PORT 1 TEST sub-menu. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the
cursor to “PORT 1 TEST” and press “Set”. The following sub-menu will appear:

RECEIVE [ RX ] TEST

This checks if the VSSI-Pro is receiving data from the ATM serial interface. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the
cursor to “RECEIVE [ RX ] TEST” and press “Set”. The following display will appear (example only):

TEST/DEMO MODE

The Test/Demo Mode provides you with several ways to test the VSSI-Pro and show its capabilities as an ATM interface.
There is no actual programming in this menu that you need to do now or settings that you would change. You will
probably only run the tests for troubleshooting purposes, and the demos would be helpful for demonstrating the VSSI-Pro
to a customer without actually having to access an ATM.

To access this section, press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “TEST/DEMO MODE” and press “Set”. The
following sub-menu will appear:
