Both Ports A & B examine data from the ATM Interface. For troubleshooting purposes you may at some point need to do
a data dump. Use this sub-menu to instigate the procedure, but first you have to make the proper connections and run
preliminary tests before the data dump can occur. For now we will provide a brief overview of these menus. For information
on a data dump procedure see Appendix A.

RECEIVE [ RX ] TEST

Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “RECEIVE [ RX ] TEST” and press “Set” to access statistics
on the following items (example only):

TX ] TEST
RX/TX TEST
EXIT

PROGRAMMING THE VSSI-PRO

VSSI-Pro VIDEO SERIAL ATM INTERFACE

Here are the current communication settings for your ATM and under RECEIVING will scroll the data being received
from the ATM. Press “Set” to return to the previous menu.

Enter a transaction and the VSSI-Pro will scan for the baud rate and display it where “AUTO” is on the menu. Press “Set”
to return to the previous menu.

EXIT

Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “EXIT” and press “Set” to return to the previous menu.

PORT A TEST

Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “PORT A TEST” and press “Set”. The following sub-menu will
appear:

BAUD RATE SCAN

There may be times when the baud rate cannot be detected on start-up. In the Baud Rate Scan test, you can scan for
the baud rate of your interface. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “BAUD RATE SCAN” and press
“Set”. The following display will appear (example only):
