7.2.1 Data Group Buttons
In the RMON Statistics window, you can view various network statistics. Data is grouped
by the type of information. You can view each type of information by clicking a Data Group
button at the top of the window (just below the title bar).
Note - Data Group buttons change the data to be displayed. The tabs change the view of the
data, that is, how the data selected by the Data Group buttons is displayed.
The following Data Group buttons are available.
Utilization
Shows utilization as a percentage. This is calculated by Device Manager.
Packet Size
Shows the number of packets by their octet size.

Size Under 64 Packets (calculated by Device Manager)
•
Size 64 Packets
•
Size 65-127 Packets
•
Size 128-255 Packets
•
Size 256-511 Packets
•
Size 512-1023 Packets
•
Size 1024-1518 Packets
•
Size Over 1518 Packets (calculated by Device Manager)
Packet Type
Shows the number of packets for each of the following categories.

Received Packets
•
Unicast Packets (calculated by the Device Manager)
•
Broadcast Packets
•
Multicast Packets
Error Type
Shows the number of packets categorized by error types.
•
Good Packets (calculated by Device Manager)
•
Error Packets (calculated by Device Manager)
•
Collision Packets
•
CRC Alignment Error Packets
•
Undersize Packets
