Change time zones, set the camera clock, choose the date display order, and turn
daylight saving time on or off.

The Clock Battery

The camera clock is powered by an independent, rechargeable power source, which is charged
as necessary when the main battery is installed or the camera is powered by an optional EH-5a
or EH-5 AC adapter (pg. 239).

Two days of charging will power the clock for about three

months.

If the

B icon flashes in the control panel, the clock battery is exhausted and the

clock has been reset.

Set the clock to the correct time and date.

Language

Choose a language for camera menus and messages. The following options are
available.

Option

Description

Time zone

Choose a time zone. The camera clock is automatically set to the time in the
new time zone.

Date and time Set the camera clock (pg. 27).

Date format

Choose the order in which the day, month, and year are displayed.

Daylight

saving time

Turn daylight saving time on or off. The camera clock will automatically be
advanced or set back one hour. The default setting is Off.
