Controlling the Flash: Speedlight Options

This sub-menu contains three options for control-
ling built-in and external Speedlights.

Controlling Flash Output: Variable Power

This sub-menu is used to adjust flash output. Flash
output can be lowered or raised by from –2.0 EV
to +2.0 EV in increments of

Popup Settings for the Built-in Speedlight: Pop-Up

This option controls whether the built-in Speedlight
pops up automatically.

Manual

Built-in Speedlight pops up only when

button is pressed.

Flash mode can be adjusted when built-in Speedlight is raised;
note, however, that flash mode can not be set to (off). Flash
fires with every shot, regardless of brightness of subject.

Auto

Built-in Speedlight pops up automatically when required.
