Troubleshooting

If you run into any problems using this

product, follow the steps below.

 Check the list (p. 72 to 80), and

inspect this product.

 Disconnect the power source, attach

the power source again after about
1 minute, and turn this product on.

 Press RESET (p. 95) using a pointed

object, and turn this product on.
If you press RESET, all settings,

including the clock setting, are reset.

 Contact your Sony dealer or local

authorized Sony service facility.

Overall operations

The power does not turn on.

Attach a charged battery pack to this product

(p. 11).

The plug of the AC Adaptor has been

disconnected from the wall outlet (wall

socket). Connect it to the wall outlet (wall

socket) (p. 11).










This product does not operate even when

the power is set to on.

It takes a few seconds for this product to be

ready to shoot after the power is turned on.

This is not a malfunction.

Disconnect the AC Adaptor from the wall

outlet (wall socket) or remove the battery

pack, then reconnect it after about 1 minute.

If the functions still do not work, press RESET

(p. 95) using a pointed object. (If you press

RESET, all settings, including the clock setting,

are reset.)

The temperature of this product is extremely

high. Turn off this product and leave it for a

while in a cool place.

The temperature of this product is extremely

low. Leave this product with the power of this

product on. If you still cannot operate this

product, turn off this product and take it to

a warm place. Leave this product there for a

while, then turn on this product.

The menu settings have been changed

automatically.

While Intelligent Auto is active, some menu

settings related to image quality will be

changed automatically.

The following menu items return to the default

setting when you switch the photo recording

mode to another mode.

[White Balance]

[IRIS]

[Shutter Speed]

[Low Lux]

[Scene Selection]

[Auto Back Light]

This product gets warm.

This product may become warm during

operation. This is not a malfunction.
