“Memory Stick Duo”
Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
Cannot operate functions using the
“Memory Stick Duo.” cSet the POWER switch repeatedly to the CAMERA-MEMORY or
PLAY/EDIT mode. (p. 16)
c Insert a “Memory Stick Duo” into your camcorder. (p. 20)
• The “Memory Stick Duo” was formatted on a personal computer.
cFormat it on your camcorder (Note that all recorded data will be

Cannot record on the “Memory Stick
Duo.” cWhen you are using the “Memory Stick Duo” with the write-protect tab,
release the lock on the write-protect tab of the “Memory Stick Duo.”
