Setting items

Description

Connection Name

Input the name to be displayed on the wireless network.

• The same name as the SSID is displayed before this setting is

made.

SSID

Input the name for identifying the wireless network.

• If [Auto Scan] is selected, the name will be automatically

retrieved.

Encryption Type

Select the encryption type from the following list according
to access point settings.
(Disable, WEP, WPA-PSK(AES), WPA-PSK(TKIP), or
WPA2-PSK(AES))

Encryption Key

Input the encryption key for security according to access
point settings.

• There are restrictions such as number of characters on the

encryption key.

IP Address

Select [Auto] or [Manual].

• If you select Manual, input the fixed address.

PPPoE

If you are using PPPoE, user authentication and IP address
assignment are possible over the LAN.

• An ID and password are required to use this feature.

Subnet Mask

If setting the IP address manually, input it according to
server settings.

Gateway

If setting the IP address manually, input it according to
server settings.

Primary DNS

Select [Auto] or [Manual].

• If setting the IP address manually, input it according to server

settings.

Secondary DNS

Select [Auto] or [Manual].

• If setting the IP address manually, input it according to server

settings.

Proxy

Select [Disable] or [Enable].

• If [Enable] is set, input the proxy server, HTTP port, HTTPS

port, etc.

Delete or confirm the access point

[Delete] and [Details] can be displayed by touching

.

These items allow you to delete access points or confirm
setting details.
