Raising AIBO

Push the tail switch (in any direction).
AIBO waits for you to teach the name. The horn
light flashes in orange and blue alternately.
z Hint
If you do not say anything for 10 seconds or more,
the horn light of AIBO goes off and AIBO stops
learning the name.

Tell AIBO the name (in 2 seconds or less).
About 10 seconds later, AIBO repeats its name or your
name in its own special voice, and then the horn light of
AIBO goes off.
If the name you gave to AIBO or your name resembles
with another word AIBO knows, or if AIBO does not
hear you clearly due to noise, AIBO makes a gesture
that means “Registration is not possible,” and its horn
light goes off.
To confirm the registered name
Ask AIBO “What’s your name?” AIBO teaches you the name in its own special
voice.
To confirm your name, asks AIBO “What’s your owner’s name?”
