Communicating with
AIBO
From AIBO to AIBO
When AIBO meets another AIBO, they
exchange greetings with one another, and then
introduce themselves to one another to check
their congeniality.
Note that AIBO can communicate with
another AIBO only after it enters the
adolescence stage.
Notes
• Only AIBO onto which “AIBO Life” (designed for ERS-310 series) or “AIBO Pal”
(designed for ERS-311/312) is loaded can communicate with one another.
• Place AIBO within the area they can hear their own sounds mutually if you want to
have them communicate with one another.

Change AIBO to Autonomous mode (see page 14).

Say “Talk to your friend” to AIBO.
AIBO gets ready for communicating with the other AIBO.
The horn light flashes in light blue slowly.
