Creating a component list element
You can create a component list element.
1. Click the EDIT s w itch in the ce nte r of the w indow to s w itch to the EDIT m ode .
2. Click the page that include s the LIST k e y you w ant to e dit from the Page tre e vie w on the le ft.
The selected page appears on the editor in the center of the w indow .
3. Click the LIST k e y on the e ditor.
4. Click the "Prope rtie s " tab in the uppe r right of the w indow .
5. Click "Edit LIST" on the right s ide of the w indow .
The "Edit LIST" dialog box appears, w hich allow s you to edit elements of the component list.
6. Click "Add ne w e le m e nt" on the right s ide of the dialog box.
The "Label Input" display of the "Add new element" w izard appears, w hich allow s you to set various information on the list element.
Hint
You can copy and paste text in each text box of the "Label Input" display by using the shortcut menu (right-click menu) or by using the shortcut keys.

o ALBUM
o Enter the album title of DVD/CD/MD/DVR/DVDREC/HDAR. You can enter up to 31 letters.
o Dis c No.
o Enter the disc number of DVD/CD/MD/DVDREC. You can enter up to 31 numbers.
When you create a DVR element or an HDAR element, this is the "No." box, not the "Disc No." box. Enter the list element number in this box.
Note
Use the same digit number such as 001, 002, 003, for (disc) number, or the number w ill not be sorted in numerical order.
o ARTIST
o Enter the artist name of DVD/CD/MD/DVR/DVDREC/HDAR. You can enter up to 31 letters.
o GENRE
o Select the genre of DVD/CD/MD/DVR/DVDREC/HDAR from the drop-dow n list by clicking .
Hint
You can only select a genre that is set for "GENRE" of the "Edit LIST" dialog box. For further details on how to add a genre, see " Adding/deleting a
genre used for a component list ."

o TITLE
o Enter the list element title. You can enter up to 31 letters.
7. Click "Ne xt."
The "Action assignment" display appears, w hich allow s you to set the action for the list element.
o Action lis t
o A series of actions, programmed for the list element, are displayed as a list.
o To edit an action on the Action list, double-click the action, or click the action and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
o /
o Change the action order.
o If you select an action on the Action list and click , the selected action moves one step up.
o If you select an action on the Action list and click , the selected action moves one step dow n.
Hint
You can also change the action order by dragging and dropping on the Action list.
o Alias
o Add an Alias action to the Action list.
o When you click "Alias," the "Alias" dialog box appears, w hich allow s you to program the action to perform the same action as w hen other keys or
function buttons on the Remote Commander are pressed.
The keys/buttons for w hich you can program an Alias action are only function keys/buttons w ith the Preset or Learn action, of the corresponding the
AV component (e.g., CD component if you create a CD component list element).
Note
You cannot program an Alias action that w ill cause an "alias loop." For further details, see " About alias loops ."
o De lay
o Add a Delay action to the Action list.
o When you click "Delay," the "Set delay time" dialog box appears, w hich allow s you to set an interval (delay time) betw een actions.
