When carrying the rechargeable battery, keep

it in the supplied carrying case. It is dangerous
to carry the battery out of its case in your
pocket or a bag together with metallic objects
such as key rings, as this may cause a short
circuit.

Remove the rechargeable battery from the

recorder when it is not to be used for a long
time.

Using on a nickel metal
hydride rechargeable
battery

Be sure the rechargeable battery is fully
charged.

Insert the fully charged nickel metal
hydride rechargeable battery with
correct polarity.

Using dry battery

Attach the supplied battery case.

Insert LR6 (size AA) dry battery (not
supplied) with correct polarity.

When to replace the batteries

When the dry battery or rechargeable
battery are weak, flashing r or “LOW
BATT” appears in the display. Replace the
dry battery or charge the rechargeable
battery.
The battery level indicator is approximate.

Note

Stop the recorder before replacing battery.
