D.4 Control Operation

IMPORTANT: THIS BROILER IS SHIPPED WITH FACTORY PRESETS THAT MUST BE CHANGED.

If this is the initial start-up for your broiler, ALL control settings must be made according to your restaurant operating guidelines.Follow the
steps outlined for calibration, changing preset times and setting the flex chamber element heat settings to properly set up this broiler.

Turn Main Power Switch on. Light the broiler follow-
ing the lighting procedures. Allow the broiler 60 min-
utes to get to proper cooking temperature.

DO NOT COOK DURING WARM-UP!

Turn the UPPER BELT SPEED CONTROL knob to
set the LEFT BELT SPEED to the desired setting.
Turn the CENTER SPEED CONTROL knob to set
the CENTER BELT SPEED to the desired setting.
Turn the LOWER BELT SPEED CONTROL knob to
set the RIGHT BELT SPEED to the desired setting.

The N2500 can be calibrated automatically. Use the following steps to
automatically calibrate your broiler:
1.

Broiler must be OFF.

2.

Push and hold the TEMPERATURE CONTROL KNOB in.

3.

Turn the broiler on. Continue to hold the knob in for 5 seconds.

4.

Release the knob. The control will display a 60 minute countdown.
At the end of the countdown, your broiler will be calibrated and
ready for use.

CALIBRATION MUST BE PERFORMED ON THE INITIAL START-UP
OF YOUR BROILER.
The broiler should be recalibrated after any service work is performed.
Nieco recommends calibrating your broiler on a quarterly basis.

DO NOT COOK DURING CALIBRATION!

AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION

During operation, the set point temperature and
actual temperature can be viewed by pressing and
holding the TEMPERATURE CONTROL KNOB in for
10 seconds. The first temperature shown will be the
SET POINT, the second temperature displayed will
be the ACTUAL TEMPERATURE. The display will
change back to Rdy after 10 seconds.
