12. Lay the pump horizontally on proper supports
where there is sufficient clearance to
disassemble the pump (Figure 17).
13. Remove the strainer (187) from the pump
(Figure 18).
14. Disassemble the discharge pipe (195) by
removing the upper nut (242) and elbow
fasteners (370H). Pull the discharge pipe from
the support plate and pump flange (Figure 19).
15. Remove all steady bearing flush tubing (190)
that is attached to the pump and steady
bearings.
16. Remove pump half-coupling hub (233) and
key.
