8. Install upper pipe nut (242). Tighten pipe nuts
against support plate. Make sure that the pipe
nuts are tight and that no strain has been
placed on the pump. Rotate shaft by hand to
assure there is no binding
9. Install strainer (187) with bolts (Figure 40).
10. Connect all auxiliary piping.
11. Replace the pump half-coupling hub (233).
12. Install motor and attach coupling (Figure 41).
13. Adjust impeller clearance following the impeller
clearance setting procedure (Section 5).
14. Install coupling guard (501) (Figure 42).
15. Lubricate the pump bearings.
16. Follow directions in Section 3 and 4 for
installation and operation.
