Maintenance

• Always unplug the machine, and allow to cool fully, before performing

any cleaning/maintenance

• Regularly check the machine for possible damage. Never use the tile

cutter if any of the parts appear worn or broken. Any worn or broken part
must be replaced. Use only original spare parts with this machine

• Do not attempt to alter any of the components of this tool. To do so

would not only INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, BUT MAY ALSO RESULT IN
DAMAGE TO THE UNIT, YOURSELF OR OTHERS IN THE VICINITY.

Replacing the Cutting Disc

NOTE: Use only continuous rim diamond cutting discs, minimum diameter
250mm, arbor hole 22.2mm.

Accessing the disc

2. Remove Guard (2)
3. Remove Table (17)

Releasing the worn disc

1. Wearing safety gloves, hold the Cutting Disc (8) in place – take care

not to touch cutting edge

2. Loosen nut: Fit nut Spanner (11) over Nut (10) and turn counter-

clockwise to loosen nut. Hold spindle in place with Spindle Spanner
(12)

3. Remove Nut (10) and Large Washer (9)
4. Remove and set aside the worn disc for disposal. Dispose of safely in

accordance with regulations

Fitting the new disc

1. Thread new disc over Spindle (7) onto central raised profile of Spacer

2. Thread Large Washer (9) over Spindle (7); ensure flat side is facing

towards the Cutting Disc (8)

3. Thread Nut (10) onto Spindle (7) and tighten so that disc is held firmly

in place

NOTE: You can use the Nut Spanner (11) and Spindle Spanner (12) as shown
in Fig. D to tighten the Nut (10), but do not overtighten. (The rotation of the
disc and cutting action will further tighten the nut over time, and you need
to be able to undo it in order to replace the disc)

4. Refit Disc Cover (14). Ensure that, when fixed in place, no part of the

disc cover touches the edge of the cutting disc, and that the Cutting
Disc (8) rotates freely

5. Refit Table (17) and Guard (2)
6. Carry out a no load test for approximately 1 minute. Check there is

no vibration
