Frequently Asked Questions

How can I connect more than one computer to the Router using only
Ethernet?

If you want to connect more than one computer to the Modem via Ethernet,
you must purchase and install an Ethernet hub or switch, which adds additional
Ethernet ports to your network. Connect the “Uplink” port on the hub/switch to
the LAN port on the back of the Modem with a standard, straight-through
Ethernet cable, then connect the computers to the switch/hub. If the computers
are set up for DHCP (see question 1, above), reboot the computers. No further
setup is necessary.

How do I know what kind of high speed Internet access I have?

Refer to the documentation received from your ISP. If the Modem connects via
phone cord (RJ-11), you probably have a DSL connection.
