DRAM ECC Enable
Ths settng enables/dsables ECC (Error Correcton Code) checkng, a meth-
od of checkng the ntegrty of data n DRAM. ECC provdes more elaborate
error detecton than party; ECC can detect multple-bt errors and can locate
and correct sngle-bt errors.
PowerNow
Ths settng enables/dsables PowerNow, the speed throttlng and power sav-
ng technology of AMD’s processors. The CPU’s clock speed and VCore are
automatcally decreased when the computer s under low load or dle, to save
power and reduce heat/nose.
PowerCap
AMD PowerCap manager gves the ablty to put a cap on the P-state level of
a core va the BIOS enabled, helpng to delver consstent, predctable power
consumpton of a system.
IDE Configuration
Primary/Secondary/Third/Fourth IDE Master/Slave
[Type] Press PgUp/<+> or PgDn/<-> to select [Manual], [None] or [Auto] type.
Note that the specifications of your drive must match with the drive
table. The hard dsk wll not work properly f you enter mproper nfor-
maton for ths category. If your hard dsk drve type s not matched or
listed, you can use [Manual] to define your own drive type manually.
[LBA/Large Mode] Enablng LBA causes Logcal Block Addressng to be used n place of
Cylnders, Heads and Sectors
