Taking pictures/videos
Using the zoom
Use optical zoom to get up to 21X closer to your subject.
1 Use the LCD to frame your subject. (For focus
distances, see Specifications, page 48 .)
2 Press Telephoto (T) to zoom in. Press Wide Angle
(W) to zoom out.
3 Take the picture or video.
NOTE: To get a focused picture every time, see page 6 .
Using digital zoom
Digital zoom is not available in Smart Capture mode.
NOTE: You may notice decreased image quality when using digital zoom.
