Removing

the

bezel

Important:

Before

you

install

optional

hardware,

make

sure

that

the

server

is

working

correctly.

Start

the

server,

and

make

sure

that

the

operating

system

starts,

if

an

operating

system

is

installed,

or

that

a

19990305

error

code

is

displayed,

indicating

that

an

operating

system

was

not

found

but

the

server

is

otherwise

working

correctly.

server

is

not

working

correctly,

see

the

Hardware

Maintenance

Manual

for

diagnostic

information.

To

remove

the

bezel,

complete

the

following

steps:

The

illustrations

1.

Read

the

safety

information

that

begins

on

page

v

and

“Installation

guidelines”

on

page

20.

2.

Unlock

the

side

cover.

Note:

You

must

unlock

the

side

cover

to

remove

the

bezel.

3.

Position

your

finger

on

the

depressed

area

on

the

left

side

of

the

bezel

and

rotate

the

bezel

away

from

the

server.
