Error Messages
This message... means... do this...
NO TONER UNIT X The COLOR toner
cartridge is not
installed properly. Install the indicated
toner cartridge.
COVER OPEN
TRAY 2 The right door of
Tray 2 is open. Close the side cover.
DRAWER OPEN
TRAY 2 The media tray is
not fully inserted into
Tray 2. Insert the media tray into
the media feed unit.
DRUM CARTRIDGE
NOT ATTACHED The OPC drum
cartridge is not
installed. Install the drum
cartridge.
DUPLEX UNIT
NOT ATTACHED Duplex printing was
specified with the
printer driver, but the
duplex unit is not
attached to the
printer. Stop the print job, and
then either change the
printer driver setting or
attach the duplex unit to
the printer.
ERROR
MEMORY OVER FLOW The printer has
received more data
than can be
processed by its
internal memory. Turn the printer off, and
then, after a few
seconds, turn it on
again. Decrease the
amount of data to be
printed (for example, by
decreasing the
resolution), and then try
printing again.
Otherwise, install an
optional memory
module.
ERROR
VIDEO UNDER RUN The amount of data to
be printed exceeds
the printer's internal
data transmission
speed. Turn the printer off, and
then, after a few
seconds, turn it on
again. Decrease the
amount of data to be
printed (for example, by
decreasing the
resolution), and then try
printing again.
