Network Menu

If the printer is connected to a network, the following settings should be
specified. For details about each setting, contact your network administrator.

Page Count

The number of pages that have been printed to date.

Controller Ver. The current controller firmware version

Engine Ver.

The printer engine firmware version

DIMM Test

Allows you to verify the DIMM by performing a DIMM test.

SDRAM Test

Allows you to check that there are no errors in the SDRAM

Power On Test Performs an AIDC (Auto-Image Density Control) calibration

cycle. Wait until the test is finished and IDLE/MAGICOLOR
2300DL is displayed (less than 150 seconds).

User Default

Resets the settings for Energy Saver, Auto Continue, and
Chaining Tray (if lower feeder unit is attached) to their
defaults:
Energy Saver: 30 minutes
Auto Continue: On
Chaining Tray: On

IP Address

Set the IP address of this printer on the network. Use the
Up, Down, Left, and Right keys to enter the value.

When manually setting the IP address, turn off DHCP and
BOOTP first.

Subnet Mask Set the subnet mask value of the network. Use the Up,

Down, Left, and Right keys to enter the value.

Gateway

If a router is used on the network, enter the IP address of
the router. Use the Up, Down, Left, and Right keys to enter
the value.

HW Address

The Ethernet hardware address for this printer can be
displayed. (It cannot be changed.)

DHCP*

If there is a DHCP server on the network, specify whether
the IP address is automatically assigned by the DHCP
server and other network information is loaded (can be set
to On or Off).

BOOTP*

Specify whether the IP address is automatically assigned
by BOOTP and other network information is loaded (can be
set to On or Off).
