Registering a Recipient in the Phonebook
You can register the recipient of a fax message in the Phonebook.
Registering Recipient Information

In the Printing Preferences dialog box, click the [Phone Book] in the
FAX tab.
The Phonebook dialog box appears.

Click the [Personal].
The [Personal Information] dialog box appears.

Enter the appropriate information in the [Name], [FAX Number], [Com-
pany], and [Department] text boxes. You can enter titles in the [Name]
text box.
– It is not necessary to change the settings for the [ECM], [Interna-
tional Transmission Mode], and [V.34 Mode] check boxes.

– Up to 40 characters can be entered in the [Name], [Company], and
[Department] text boxes.
