WARNING:

Do not expose the batteries to intense heat, such as sun-
light, fire or similar.

Danger of explosion!

CAUTION:

• Batteries can leak out and lose battery acid. If the

device is not used for a long period of time, remove the
batteries from the device.

• Different battery types or new and used batteries must

not be used together.

• Batteries must not be disposed of in the garbage.

Please bring used batteries to competent collection
centers or back to the dealer.

Insert/Replace Battery in Remote Control

NOTE:

The lithium cell in the battery compartment of the remote
control was possibly secured with a foil for the transport.
This prolongs the lifetime of the battery. Please remove this
foil before the first use to make the remote control ready
for operation.

• Open the battery compartment on the underside of the

remote.

• Replace the cell with a battery of the same type (CR 2025).

Check that the polarity is correct (see battery compart-
ment).

• Close the battery compartment.
If the remote is not in use for a lengthy period of time, please
remove the battery to prevent the battery acid from “leaking”.

WARNING:

• Do not expose the batteries to intense heat, such as

sunlight, fire or similar.

Danger of explosion!

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. They are

not toys.

• Do not force batteries open.
• Avoid contact with metallic objects. (Rings, nails, screws

etc.)

Danger of short circuits!

• Short circuits may overheat or even ignite batteries.

This may lead to combustion.

• When transporting the batteries, cover the terminals for

your safety with an adhesive strip.

• If a battery leaks, do not rub the fluid into the eyes or

the skin. If acid comes into contact with the eyes, rinse
with purified water and seek medical advice if symp-
toms persist.

CAUTION:

Batteries must not be disposed of in the garbage. Please
bring used batteries to competent collection centers or
back to the dealer.

Setting the time
1. Switch the device to standby with the button.
2. Keep the TIME SET button (10) pressed for about 2

seconds. The notification “24H” will blink in the display.

3. Use the / buttons (4) to choose between 24 hour or

12 hour display.

NOTE:

With the 12 hour display, the notification “PM” will ap-
pear in the display in the afternoon.

4. Confirm your selection with the TIME SET button. The

hours will blink in the display.

5. Perform the settings with the / buttons.
6. Confirm your selection with the TIME SET button. The

minutes will blink in the display.

7. Perform the settings with the / buttons.
8. Press the TIME SET button again to store the time.

General Operation

NOTE:

• You will find some buttons both on the device and on

the remote control. Buttons with the same name have
the same function.

• The operation of the device is described by the buttons

of the remote control.

Switch device on/off
With the button (14), you can switch the unit between
standby and operating mode. The control lamp (9) will be lit
during standby.

NOTE: In CD, USB, CARD mode

After about 15 minutes without signal, or if the signal is too
weak, the device will automatically switch to standby.

Volume
By pressing the

/

buttons (4) you can adjust the

desired volume.

Infrared Remote Control
For wireless control within a distance of 5 m. If this range de-
creases, the battery has to be replaced. For proper operation
mind a clear view between the remote control and the sensor
on the device.

FUNCTION (7)
Press the FUNCTION button until the desired operating
mode is shown on the display.

For immediate muting of the volume. The notification in the
display will blink. Press again to cancel the function.
