Your zūmo can receive and use traffic
information using the GTM 12 FM
TMC (Traffic Message Channel)
traffic receiver. When a traffic message
is received, your zūmo displays the
incident on the map and can change
your route to avoid the traffic incident.
For participating FM traffic subscription
providers and coverage cities, go to
www.garmin.com/fmtraffic .
NoTE: Garmin is not
responsible for the accuracy of
the traffic information. The GTM
12 simply receives signals from
the traffic service provider and
displays that information on your
zūmo.
To install your GTM 12:
1. Connect your zūmo to external
power.
2. Connect the mini-USB plug on the
GTM 12 to the mini-USB port on your
zūmo mount.

3. Secure the GTM 12 to your
motorcycle. For best results, position
the antenna vertically.
4. Route the GTM 12 cable so it does
not interfere with your motorcycle’s
operating controls.
