Selecting and adjusting individual lights. You can control the two luminaires together or each one
individually. In order to control a single luminaire, you need to select it. You can do this by using one of
the light selection buttons. When you press and hold one of the light selection buttons, the selected
luminaire will start blinking. If this is not the luminaire you would like to adjust, release the button and
press it again – another luminaire will start blinking. When a luminaire is selected, the light selection
indicator on the remote control (light bulb) will light up. This means you can now adjust the selected
luminaire only (e.g. you can dim it or switch it on/off). When no luminaire is selected (light selection
indicator is off), all your adjustments will apply to all lights connected to the remote control (for
example, you can dim all lights in the room).

3.

Creating lighting scenes. If you like a particular light setting (for example, one luminaire off and the other
one slightly dimmed), you can store this scene for easy recall: press and hold one of the Scene buttons
until the remote control makes a beeping sound. Your scene is now stored under the Scene button you
have pressed.

You can continue adjusting the lights as you wish. Whenever you want to go back to your stored scene,
just press the Scene button you pressed when storing it. That Scene button will light up briefly to show
that the scene is selected, and the luminaire will go to your stored settings.

You can store up to 3 scenes (one for each Scene button).

Switch the luminaires off by pressing the “0” (off) button briefly. The light level of both will dim slowly
until they switch off after 12 seconds. This gives you time to leave the room. If you press “0” again, the
lamps switch off immediately. You can switch all lamps on again by pressing “I” (on).

3. Connecting additional lights to your Philips LivingWhites remote control

You can connect other Philips LivingAmbiance/LivingWhites products to your Philips LivingWhites remote control
to create immersive lighting scenes. Up to 50 products can be connected to one remote.

You can connect multiple Philips LivingWhites products (other plugs, energy savers and luminaires) to your remote
control. To add a Philips LivingWhites product, bring the remote close to it, then press and hold the “I” button. The
lamp will flash 3 times. Hold the “I” button until you hear a beep from the remote; the lamp will rapidly flash twice.
It is now connected to the remote control and will turn to its last “on” setting.

If you would like to disconnect a LivingWhites product from the remote, bring the remote close to the product,
then press and hold the “0” button. The lamp will flash 3 times. Hold the “0” button until you hear a beep from the
remote. The lamp will now slowly fade to off.

You can also connect other SmartLink products (e.g. Philips LivingAmbiance, LivingColors) to this remote control
in the same way as described above. If a product has the SmartLink logo on the box, it can be connected to this
remote. Please note that you cannot change the colour of coloured light products with this remote.
