I NSTALLING THE IDE D RIVE ( CONT ’ D )
Connect the larger end of the Audio
cable to the AUDIO OUT jack on the
back of the CD-ReWriter. Connect the
other end (sound blaster compatible)
to the sound card (if applicable).
Connect the 4-pin power connector
to the DC INPUT jack on the back of
the CD-ReWriter.
Note: The power connector referred to is
a standard PC power connector from the
PC’s power supply. A typical power sup-
ply will have four or five connectors for
powering the floppy drives, hard drives,
and CD-ROM drives that are part of the
PC. It is one of these unused connectors
that is being referred to in this step.
If no power connectors are available,
contact your dealer.
