3 In the dialog box that appears, choose the file that contains the information you want
to restore.
Note: With the Newton Connection Utilities, you can restore information
from a card backup file to a card. You cannot restore information from a card
backup file to your Newton’s internal memory.
WARNING If you back up selectively, be careful when you restore
information. You may remove information that has not been backed up.
Apple recommends you restore information only from a backup that
includes all information and packages.
29 Backing Up and Restoring Information
To restore storage
card information,
select the latest
backup file
for the card.
Select the latest backup file
for your Newton device.
