To rotate images an arbitrary number of degrees, follow these steps:
1 Choose Rotate from the Image menu, but don’t release the mouse button.
2 Drag to the right to choose the Arbitrary command.
After you release the mouse button, the Rotate dialog box appears.
3 Type the number of degrees you want to rotate the image and click Right or Left to
indicate the direction of rotation.
4 Click OK to rotate the image.
If necessary, the work area enlarges to accommodate the entire rotated image.
If the frontmost window contains a single image and part of the image is
selected, the Rotate command rotates only the selected area. If the frontmost
window contains a catalog with several thumbnails selected, the Rotate
command ignores any selections the images contain.
