To properly connect and control additional speakers, you need:
• Another LIFESTYLE ® system remote control to adjust the volume and select a sound
source for the room where additional speakers are in use. One option for this is the
advanced PERSONAL
® music center II, a combination remote control and system monitor.
• Appropriate LIFESTYLE ® system cables to connect the added speaker system.
For further information, or to purchase compatible equipment, see your Bose ® authorized
dealer. Or, to contact Bose directly, refer to the address list provided with the system.
Making them all work together
• Use an AL8 homewide wireless audio link, which includes the two cables needed for
connecting the transmitter and receiver. Instructions are included in the carton.
OR
• Connect a Bose ® link speaker cable from the media center jack labeled Bose link to the
audio input of the additional equipment (Figure 25).

• A Bose link AL8 homewide wireless audio link
This combination Wi-Fi signal transmitter and receiver enables you to enjoy your
LIFESTYLE
® system sound on other audio equipment in other rooms, without the bother of
running wires there. You can add up to seven additional receivers, available as the Bose link
AR-1 wireless audio receiver.
