assembly in glass thread (18) of aftercooler (2). Plug left-hand over outlet stud (6), pull
coupling nut tight.

- Connect cooling water with fittings (11), exhaust air with fitting (14), as required.

2.3. Vacuum

supply

- Vacuum supply is connected with inlet fitting (12)


2.4. Electric power supply

Caution: ROTAVAC vario control consists of a pump (24V=) and a power supply module
(mains voltage)

- Before connecting power supply with mains network check whether:

actual voltage is identical with voltage depicted on data plate (refer to "Safety
Information”); Refer to "General" for more information of plug connectors used.

- Connect power cord with wall outlet.
- Connect pump wire with control box (also refer to LABOROTA 4002/4003 control vario

Owner's Manual)

3. ROTAVAC vario tec and ROTAVAC valve tec

Caution: ROTAVAC vario tec may be used together with the LABOROTA 4002/4003
evaporator only !


3.1. Set-up

- Locate items on solid and plain surface. Item must be horizontal.

3.2. Install cooler holder and condensate cooler

- If your ROTAVAC vario tec or ROTAVAC valve tes is used

together with the ROTACOOL reflux cooler, you may directly
place your ROTAVAC vario tec or ROTAVAC valve tec on top of
the ROTACOOL.

- Remove fairing (17) by unthreading two screws
- Install bracket (1) for condensate cooler (2) on the rear of the

vacuum pump in a slot provided to this end. Introduce 2 ea.
square nuts in slot.

- Re-install fairing (17).
