Inspect screwed fitting of hoses on pump heads.
DISASSEMBLE, FORWARD & STORE
Disassemble
Turn item OFF and disconnect mains plug.
Transportation and store
1. Store item and its components in the original box to avoid damage in transit. Close box with
adhesive tape.
2. Store item in a dry place.
Caution: avoid shocks an vibration in transit.
DISPOSAL
For disposal, please comply with your local or national regulations.
Split by metal, plastic, etc.
Packing material to be treated as described above (material split).
TROUBLESHOOTING
Vacuum pumps
defect found reason correction
pump won't run or
starts running and
stops right away
¾ electricity missing, voltage too
low ?

ROTAVAC vario control and
ROTAVAC vario tec:
triggering signal for
motorspeed missing?
¾ overpressure in exhaust line?
¾ motor overload?
¾ check voltage, connect
electricity

reason, turn ON again

¾ pump runs hot (decrease

¾ check pump check fittings. line
and recipient
¾ increase cross section.
¾ run pump with intake stud
open for a minute
¾ clean and check pump heads
¾ replace diaphragm and/or
valves
¾ check process parameters

improve cooling, or reduce
suction pressure
