Määräyksenmukainen käyttö:
Sähköaidan syöttö pieneläimiä varten, fysikaaliset suurjännitekokeet.
Varo-ohje: Kaikkialle, missä voidaan koskettaa sähköaitalaitteen suurjännitettä, on asetettava asiallisia varo-ohjeita! Laitteen pystyttäjän on
varmistettava, ettei valvomatonta, tahatonta kosketusta voi syntyä (muut henkilöt, lapset, sairaat jne.)! Tämä koskee myös murtovarkaita, joille
laki myöntää oikeuden koskemattomuuteen, myös murtautuessaan pahassa aikeessa kotiisi!
Tekniset tiedot:

Keskimääräinen virrantarve: keskimäärin n. 100 mA, pulssihuipuilla jopa 1,5 A
Piirilevyn mitat: n. 45 x 21 mm

Mounting instructions + Setting into operation:
As impulse transformer use a simple, commercial standard power transformer (not incuded in the kit). Input voltage: 230 V~, output:
12 V 1 A. This transformer will be connected to the 12 V-side of the board. Then the high-voltage impulses will come out of the 230 V~-side
which may amount to 3000 Volt because of the high induction voltage. For physical tests the voltage between the two transformer poles is
"230 V~". When using as electric fence one pole of the high-voltage will be connected to ground (a naked metal pipe or earth rod of approx.
50...80 cm length will be hit into the earth and electrically connected with one high-voltage pole). The other pole will be connected with the
naked fence wire. It is absolutely necessary that the naked fence wire is fastened at the fence posts by using commercial plastic high-voltage
insulators. In case the wire at the fastening points is not exactly (100 %) insulated from the fence post, this leads to tracking current routes
and the high-voltage breaks down an becomes ineffective. This kit is a weaker kind of an electric fence instrument and is only suitable for
smaller fences and small animals. For larger pastures and bigger animals (e. g. bulls) stronger electric fence instruments are necessary.
For usage inside the flat as protection against burglars, one pole must be connected to ground (e.g. at the central heating) and the other one
must be put on the door-handle or similar. Of course, the door-handle must be insulated, i. e. the door leaf must not consist of metall!
The appliance requires an operating voltage of 6 V. The current consumption amounts to more than 1,5 A at the pulse crests so that a
sufficiently strong direct-current supply unit should be used. Simple plug-in supply units with an output of 6 V 1 Ampere are suitable. These
supply units usually also produce pulse crests of 1,5 A.
The safety regulations of VDE must be observed in any case for operating! The high-voltage impulses can be very detrimental to health for ill
persons and persons who run the risk of getting a shock!
Circuit description:
The transistors T1 + T2 form together an unbalanced multivibrator. The short pulse edge of the multivibrator opens the switching transistor T3
periodically. This switches on a current through the low-voltage winding of the connected transformer for a short moment and thus induces
high-voltage impulses on the high-tension side of the transformer which are – due to the induction -many times over the tension printed on the
transformer (pulses of more than 3000 V come out of the 230 V~ end of the transformer).
Note: As far as the „classical“ assembly with earthing by means of an earth rod and bare high-voltage wire is concerned, the action is
dependant on whether the soil is sufficiently damp to conduct the high-voltage. Furthermore, the animal must touch the ground and high-
voltage wire at the same time to get an electric shock. If this is not the case (e.g. soil too dry, climbing animals, for example cats, that do not
touch the ground at the same time), we recommend the following: tighten 2 bare wires that are insulated from each other at a distance of
approx. 2 cm and connect them to one of the two 230 V~ transformer connections, respectively. If the animal now touches both bare wires at
the same time, it will get an electric shock.
Check list for troubleshooting:
The most common mistake is a too weak distribution voltage: One either has to use a stabilised power supply 6 V with a power of at least 1 A
or a battery with sufficient power 6 V > 10 Ah.
A short-circuit in the high-voltage transmission line or leakage currents due to insufficient insulation can often be ascertained in this case. If
there is no sufficient high-voltage, please disconnect the high-voltage cable and measure the high-voltage directly at the transformer output.
This may either be done with a glow lamp or a phase tester with built-in glow lamp. Because one pole is not earthed, you have to lay both poles
of the glow lamp to both output terminals of the transformer or in case of a phase tester lay the spike and clip to one transformer connection,
respectively. It is not possible to measure the high-voltage with a voltmeter because these are very short pulses and no constant voltage. So if
there a high-voltage impulses at the transformer and none at your electric fence, this can only be due to a short-circuit or insufficient insulation
between both high-voltage outputs of the transformer (bad insulators, damp, etc.).
Intended use:
Operation of an electric fence for keeping of small animals, physical tests with high-voltage.
Warning: Appropriate warnings have to fixed everywhere where the high-voltage of this electronic fence device may be touched! The builder of
this installation must ensure that inadvertent, unintentional contact through other persons, children, sick persons, etc. may not happen! This
applies to burglars, too, who have under the law a right to “integrity” of their body, even if they burgle with bad intentions!
Technical data:
Operating voltage: 6 V=
Average power consumption: approx. 100 mA on average, up to 1.5 A in pulse spikes
Size of board: approx. 45 x 21 mm

Montage voorschriften + Ingebruiksaanwijzing:
deurkling of iets dergelijks gelegd.
