Wire Aircraft Cable used in pigtail end of lanyard is made

of 7/32" (6mm) diameter galvanized steel cable that is vinyl
covered for protection against abrasion. Provides excellent
resistance to heat, chemicals, paints, and solvents. Also
resists molten metal splatter and open flame, although the
vinyl coating may melt or char. Aircraft cable will not resist the
flame of a torch. The aircraft-cable end is permanently
attached to the lanyard.

Nylon-Filament Rope Lanyard end is made of 1/2"

(13mm) diameter filament-nylon type. The long-strand nylon
filament construction imparts a very high tensile strength,
excellent elasticity, and good abrasion resistance.

Snap-Hooks are attached at each end of the

lanyard and have a throat opening of 11/16" (17mm). These
all-steel snap-hooks feature drop-forged steel and a

corrosion-resistant finish. All Klein hardware meets or
exceeds applicable OSHA standards.

Although OSHA regulations generally require workers to use
fall protection when exposed to a fall of six feet or more, we
strongly recommend using fall-arrest protection when
working at any elevated position. When unsure or in doubt,
contact your regional OSHA office.

Know the appropriate regulations. Learn about the types
of protective equipment and systems which must be used on
the job. OSHA requires employers to know and follow the
OSHA regulations pertaining to their industry and to provide
a workplace free from hazards that might cause injuries.

OSHA provides free consultation assistance to employers
who need help in training and implementation. If you have
any questions or any doubt as to what regulations apply
to you or what safety equipment is required, contact
your regional OSHA office.

Only use this unit with harnesses and connecting devices
meeting OSHA fall-arrest standards.
