Install P/N 173168 on the right hand side of the frame
center.
a.
Remove the two (2) 1/4-20 x 2-1/4 hex head cap
screws retaining the valve body (See
Figure 1-6).
b.
Using a grinder, cut off wheel, or torch remove
the old valve mount.
c.
Open the hydraulic bulkhead fitting in the lower
portion of the valve mount.
Keep the hydraulic line ends clean.
Discard the loose valve mount.
d.
Raise the valve assembly upward and slip the
BRACE-FRAME, RH, P/N 173168 over the
frame and below the valve and hose assembly
into place on the right hand side of the frame
(See Figure 1-7).
e.
Position the holes in the “L” shaped bracket over
the pins protruding thru the clevis on the right
hand side.
f.
Secure P/N 173168 in the same manner as P/N
173167 in the previous step.
g.
Reassemble the bulkhead connection into the
tab on the underside of P/N 173168.
h.
Using the screws and nuts disassembled in
step a, mount the valve body to the top surface
of the valve mount provided with P/N 173168.
