Residual hazards

Protection of persons

ƒ

Do not use the integrated brakes as fail−safe brakes. It cannot be ruled out that
certain disruptive factors that cannot be influenced such as oil ingress due to a
defective shaft sealing ring at the drive end may reduce the braking torque.

Motor protection

ƒ

Integrated temperature sensors do not provide full protection for the machine. If
necessary, limit the maximum current. Parameterise the controller so that the
motor will be switched off with I > I

r

after a few seconds of operation, especially if

there is a risk of blocking.

ƒ

If deviations from normal operation occur, e.g. increased temperature, noise,
vibration, determine the cause and, if necessary, contact the manufacturer. If in
doubt, switch off the low−voltage machine.

ƒ

Overload protection does not protect against overloading under all conditions.
