5 Commissioning
Initial switch-on

1. Connect the devices and if necessary also the separate supply for the communication
module.
2. Check the signals at the
communication module

l At least one of the two status lights (red/greed) at the
device must be on or blinking.
l The bus LED (green, voltage supply) must be on.
l The bus LED (yellow, communication LON) indicates
the communication status as described.
3. Configuration of controllers
connected to the bus Configure the controllers connected to the bus by means
of an appropriate configuration tool
à e.g. LONMAKERtfor Windows ® .
Use the Service key to sign on the communication
module using the configuratin tool
“ LONMakert for Windows® “.
4. It should now be possible to
communicate with the drive. The bus LED (yellow, communication LON) is blinking
when data is exchanged between the 2141
communication module and other devices connected to
the bus.
5. Drive-specific settings See the corresponding Operating Instructions
6. Enable controller Terminal controller inhibit (CINH) = HIGH
7. Setpoint selection The drive should be running now.
