Replacing the Scrubber Filters

1. Verify that the Model GX-2001 is off.

2. Unscrew the two screws that secure the sensor retainer and sensor

cover retainer to the Model GX-2001 and remove them.

3. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, gently pry each side of the sensor

cover retainer away from the sensor retainer.

4. Remove the sensor cover to gain access to the scrubbers.

5. The charcoal filter disk is located in the CO sensor diffusion port. One

filter disk is used. One H

2

S filter disk is also used in the CO sensor

diffusion port. It is installed over the charcoal filter disk.

2

S removal filter disk is also located in the combustible gas

diffusion port.

6. When the appropriate scrubber filters have been replaced, reinstall the

sensor cover.

7. Reattach the sensor cover retainer in its original position. It should snap

into place onto the sensor retainer.

8. Replace the two screws that secure the sensor retainer and sensor

cover retainer to the Model GX-2001, which you removed in step 2
above.
