Sourcing Device with Sinking Output Module Circuit
The field device is on the positive side of the power supply between the supply
and the output terminal. When the output is activated, it sinks current from
the field device.
Inserting I/O Modules
The procedure for installing I/O modules is similar to the procedure for
installing the 1747-ACN15/-ACNR15 module. Follow the steps below.
1. Disconnect power.
2. Align circuit board of the module with the chassis card guide.

Disconnect power before attempting to install, remove, or
wire modules.
