Interpret Status Indicators for your
FLEX I/O Module
Overview Use this chapter to troubleshoot the very high speed counter module by
interpreting the indicators.
Status Indicators The module contains indicators for each of the following:
1794-VHSC Module
A = Status Indicators –
A — Status of input A
B — Status of input B
Z — Status of gate input Z
The indicators are multiplexed in 2 groups (A0, B0, Z0, O0/O1; and A1, B1, Z1,
O2/O3) at a frequency of 488Hz. If inputs or outputs change at or near that
frequency, the associated indicator will vary in brightness.
B = Insertable label for writing individual I/O assignments.
C = Power/status indicator - indicates power applied to module and status
of module.
