5. Open liftgate and remove the pull strap from inside
of the liftgate with a T30 Torx driver. (Figure 1)

6. Remove the grab cup on the bottom of the liftgate
using a T30 Torx driver. (Figure 2)

7. Remove the upper liftgate trim by working your way
from one end to the other and popping out the
mounting pins with your hands. (Figure 3)

8. Remove the liftgate button connector from the
upper liftgate trim panel. (Figures 4 and 5)

9. Remove pushpins from the rear window latch trim
using a pick. (Figure 6)

10. Remove the lower liftgate trim by working your way
from one end to the other and popping out the
mounting pins with your hands. (Figure 7)
