Image Types

You can select the media type of the document through [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Tx Settings]
[Image Type]

Select the media type of the document to use.

Press [Save] button to apply the selected document media.
Text -> Default
Doc. Type
For the documents with texts only.
Tx time is fast for black & white texts and images only.
Photo
for document with exquisite photos.
Very slow. Contrast in the document is sent.
In case the original size is equal to B5 SEF only text can be possible and
cannot be selected with any photos.
Photos and standard resolution cannot be selected at the same time.
The standard resolution can be used only for documents and is to be changed
to the fine resolution when photos are selected.
Fax Density

You can decide the darkness of the images to fax through [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Fax Tx
Settings] [Fax Density].

Touch 【◀Lighter or Darker▶ to select your wanted darkness.

Press Save to apply the selected density.

Select one for the document from the 9 levels of the density.

Auto Density
The scanned dark background images can be compensated to be brighter from this setting.

Go to [Settings] [Fax Settings] [ Tx Settings] [Auto Density] to set this function.

Press 【On】 or 【Off】 to select the setting for "Auto Density".

Press 【OK】 to save the selected settings.
