9. Plasma Gas Requirements

a. Plasma Gas

Compressed Air, Oxygen (O2), Nitrogen (N2),
or Argon/Hydrogen(ArH2)

b. Pressure

60 psi (3.4 bar)

CAUTION

Maximum input gas pressure must not exceed 125
psi (8.6 BAR)

NOTE

Hot flow is measured with the main arc activated.
When pressure is set correctly the plasma gas flow
rate is significantly higher until the arc is initi-
ated.

2.04 Options And Accessories

These items can be used to customize a standard system
for a particular application or to further enhance perfor-
mance (refer to Section 6 for ordering information).

• Phenolic (plastic) Pinch Block Mounting Assembly

For machine mounted torch applications where a
non-metal mounting assembly is desired.

• Multi-Gas Conversion Kits

Converts dual gas air/air systems to multi-gas op-
eration. The multi-gas systems can use oxygen, ni-
trogen, or argon/hydrogen as the plasma gas. The
kits include regulators, supply hoses, and spare
parts kit.
