Remotes

A remote can control a device in the NetStreams Panorama system using Panorama’s
learned IR or pass-through capabilities.

Learned IR allows the Panorama remote to control sources and displays while the
pass-through ability allows the source remote to control the source through the
NetStreams Panorama system. If you prefer to use your own universal remote, it can
use either pass-through or learned IR abilities, depending on how you have configured
the universal remote.

Panorama remote

The PAN6400 VDC learns and stores IR commands using the source and display
remotes. The Panorama remote tells the PAN6400 VDC which stored IR commands to
execute. You only need to store the codes once for each source and display. If you add
additional Panorama remotes in the future, they will have the same control as the
original Panorama remote. Figure 6-1 identifies the buttons on the Panorama remote.

The NetStreams Panorama system can learn any single code on the original remote for
a source or display. However, macros containing multiple steps programmed into a
source or display remote cannot be learned.
